Mazda CX-30 Malaysia Specs [Walkaround Review] – Finally, the Mazda SUV range is Complete.
We saw it at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, about a month ago, and it is here in Malaysia, ready for order-taking. The CX-30 complements the SUV lineup, offering something larger than the CX3, and smaller than the CX 5. Finally, the SUV range is complete. The CX-30 will be sold alongside its little sibling, the CX-3, and its bigger brothers, the CX-5, CX-8, and the CX-9
The Mazda CX-30 will be fully imported from Japan, at least for the moment. Considering that Malaysia is currently the regional hub for SUV’s, we won’t be too surprised if it becomes a CKD (locally-assembled) unit later.
There are three variants offered 1)SkyActiv-G 2.0 2WD priced at RM143,119.20, 2) SkyActiv-G 2.0 HIGH 2WD priced at RM164,119.20, and SkyActiv-D 1.8 HIGH 2WD (RM173,027.70). The latter is a diesel model and this is our first time to see this 1.8-litre turbo diesel engine.
All variants are offered with Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD) only, with a 6-speed Mazda SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission.
