Updated Jaguar E-PACE Includes Self-Learning Technology

The Jaguar E-PACE has been updated to take the joy of driving to a new level. The premium sporty compact SUV is fitted with proprietary and innovative technologies that make it smarter and more fuel efficient, while providing greater comfort and driving reliability.

Smart Technology

Among the new updates for the E-PACE is Jaguar’s Smart Settings – a self-learning technology which studies the driver’s habits and anticipates their needs to make driving more pleasurable and convenient.

The Smart Settings kicks in when the driver approaches the car. The vehicle recognises the driver via the key fob or the smartphone and then adjusts the seat, climate and infotainment system based on the driver’s preference.

Gradually, over time, this ‘self-learning’ technology will be able to pick up more of the driver’s preferences, such as time, location, weather and behaviour patterns. For example, it can change the media source on a particular day of the week or time of day. The Intelligent Phone Reminder function in the Smart Settings will also tell the driver if they forget their smartphones, while the Predictive Call List learns patterns of phone use to cue up popular contacts at the appropriate time.

The Smart Settings can store up to eight profiles, making it a worthwhile offering for fleets vehicle users and those who share their vehicle.

Efficient Power

The Jaguar E-PACE is fitted with the state-of-the-art 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium petrol engine. The engine is said to offer a cleaner and more efficient drive. This E-PACE can complete the 0-100km/h sprint in 8.2 seconds. Like its siblings, it features the same collection of advanced technologies found across the rest of the Ingenium engine family.

This includes a twin scroll turbocharger, continuously variable valve lift and variable cam timing that work to enhance power and efficiency as well as the drivability of the car. The new engine is also equipped with particulate filters to make it even cleaner.

Safety First

The E-PACE is also equipped with a host of active and passive safety technologies that will keep you and your family safe. In the event of a collision, six airbags and two ISOFIX points protect occupants while a pedestrian airbag reduces injury to others.

For enthusiasts, the E-PACE features an all-wheel drive system that is packed with technology designed to ensure the joy, safety and comfort of a Jaguar is not compromised no matter the driving conditions.

Sporty Style

As Jaguar’s first compact SUV, the updated E-PACE features a sporty exterior and an interior design that raises the bar for compact SUVs, with its rich, stylish visual effects. The soft, high-quality materials used throughout the cabin are the first ‘handshake’ with the customer, while the charming British detail design leaves a lasting impression.

Apart from achieving strong sales in a highly competitive segment and winning a string of awards, the E-PACE aslo set a record for the furthest barrel roll in a production vehicle, in the Guinness Book of Records.

The E-PACE is priced at RM403,216.67 (applicable only to Peninsular Malaysia; excluding road tax and insurance). This price is inclusive of the 50% Sales Tax waiver under the PENJANA economic stimulus plan. It is available in 200PS powertrain and are limited to 2 exterior colours – Yulong White and Firenze Red.
