BMW X5 45e Genting Hill Climb/ 400 HP, 600Nm Combined Power, PHEV, 2.4 Tonnes / YS Khong Driving
BMW make great cars, and they choose to call their X Series SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) instead of the industrial norm SUV, and are justified in doing so; the X5 45e , a PHEV is possibly the best X5 that has come out of the BMW stables.
This time, they have put in a more powerful base engine, the 3.0 litre Twin Scroll turbo; the end result is a powerful base engine that still has enough power to propel this 2.4 tonne behemoth at all times, a huge contrast from the 2.0 litre engine in the previous model. Clearly this is the right direction to go for a company that primarily makes performance vehicles for its customers.
The X-Drive drive train is possibly one of the best AWD systems in the world, and it all goes to work to make this X5 one of the most agile SAVs you can get.
