How to (Properly) Cut a Pineapple – Bits & Pieces from YS Khong Driving
When we go driving around our beautiful countryside, we often are greeted with sights of local fruits in season being offered on sale by the roadside.
One of my favorite fruits is the pineapple – they are sweet and succulent to eat, and are a good source of vitamin C for us; however, cutting the pineapple up to be served does pose some challenges to some people – luckily my grandmother taught me how to do it as a kid, because we lived in a kampung and in a era when it was quite commonplace for families to have some fruits and vegetables growing in their backyards.
So, the next time you pass by one of these stalls selling pineapples, do stop and help out the locals by buying some, if only to test out if you can do it, just like what I am going to show you in this video.
Thanks for watching, and good luck with your pineapple cutting, and try not to laugh too much, hahaha.
Cheers!
