Toyota is starting its Electrification program with the Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid, and you can be a part of it right now, through your favorite motoring channel, YS Khong Driving.

The new Corolla Cross hybrid is open for booking forthwith, with the official launch to be held very soon. As with any new model, we expect a huge influx of orders, so the earlier you order, the earlier you get your vehicle.

The first deliveries are expected to be in January 2022.

Here are the ‘suspected’ specifications:-
1.8 litre Atkinson -Cycle 4 cylinder engine with 98 PS and 142 Nm of torque.
72 PS hybrid motor with 163 Nm of torque.

Vehicle size will be almost identical to the current Corolla Cross, with a few Blue accents to denote its hybrid status. The full complement of Toyota Safety Sense, including AHB (Auto High Beam), PCS (Pre-Collision System) with Autonomous Braking, Lane Keep and Lane Departure Warning, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control will be standard equipment. (Note that these specs are subject to confirmation with the launch of the new vehicle.)
