VW Arteon 4Motion R-Line/Genting With Erik Winter, Again!/ #4Motion280PSfasterornot#/YS KhongDriving

If you remember the last time I took the VW Arteon up to Genting with Erik Winter, the CEO of VPCM (Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia), it was in the 190 PS FWD Arteon. I said that I hoped VW would bring in the more powerful 280PS Arteon 4Motion. And my wish came through – they sent the car to me during the RMCO when we were not allowed out of the 10 km radius of our homes – I did a short test then, and you can watch the video on our channel.

Now that the restrictions have been removed, we are able to take it up our favorite test drive route again, and this time we go all the way up to the top.

The Arteon 4Motion R Line is certainly the best bang per buck for a D-segment Sedan, with its large size, excellent looks, powerful engine, AWD and of course that sure-footed ‘stuck-to-the-road handling. SST exemption is extended to end June 2022, and the price of RM247k is really attractive.
