Peugeot 2008 1.2T, Real World Condition Fuel Consumption Test / YS Khong Driving

The latest Peugeot 2008 entry into the Malaysian market has triggered some reactions, and amongst these reactions is to wonder what kind of fuel consumption a 1.2 litre turbocharged engine can achieve in terms of fuel consumption.

Not to worry – we went ahead and did a test to do just that, and the results are shown in this video.

As usual, we took the Peugeot 2008 on a normal working day, and travelled on the very same roads that you and I use on a daily basis.

As an additional point, the entire run is not edited, so you can see for yourself, in real time, the traffic conditions we went through, and the speeds we drove at, so that you can have no doubt as to the authenticity of the test.
