See The New Renault Zoe

TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the sole franchise holder of Renault vehicles in Malaysia, has made available a unit of the new Renault Zoe for potential buyers to view pending the official launch. Those who are keen on EVs can take a closer look at the new Zoe on display in the Renault flagship showroom along Jalan Kemajuan in Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya.

TCEC is also accepting registration of interest for the Zoe.

All Electric

This latest generation Renault Zoe takes the pleasure of driving 100% electric to a new dimension. With its increased power and range, host of engineering and technological enhancements and distinctive French styling, the new Zoe is more high performing than ever.

Since its mass production launch in 2012, the Renault Zoe has continued to win over drivers, with about 380,000 cars sold by the end of May 2022.

Variants Available

There are two variants available for the Malaysian market with different motor configurations – the R110 and R135. These updated powertrains promise a smooth and responsive driving experience. The Zoe R110 delivers a maximum output of 80kW and 225 Nm of torque and is priced at RM163,000*. Meanwhile, the more powerful new Zoe R135 provides 100kW of power and maximum torque of 245 Nm. The official price for the new Zoe R135 unfortunately is yet to be confirmed, but TCEC is estimating it to be about RM175,000*.

Driving Range and Charging

Both the Zoe R110 and R135 are powered by a new 52 kWh Z.E. 50 battery, which gives it an improved range of up to 395 km on the WLTP**. This is a 25 percent improvement over the previous generation battery without any increase in physical dimensions.

Furthermore, the new Renault Zoe now also features direct current (DC) rapid charging capability via the new Combo CCS2 plug in addition to its Type 2 alternating current (AC) charging option.

With DC charging, the new Renault Zoe gains back up to 145 km of driving range in 30 minutes. With AC Type 2 charging, the new Zoe achieves zero to 100 percent capacity in three hours (on the 22 kW charger) and nine hours 30 minutes (on the 7.4 kW charger).

New Interior and Updated Technology

Inside, the new Zoe’s freshly redesigned cabin features a wide 10-inch customisable full TFT instrument cluster and the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system with six speakers. Additionally, the updated infotainment system also features a seven-inch central touchscreen with smartphone replication that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Renault has also made smart use of ethical and sustainable materials in the interior featuring tactile textiles on key touchpoints. Moreover, the Zoe’s enhanced comfort and ergonomics deliver a more pleasant ride for driver and passengers alike.
