All-New Perodua Axia 2023 Preview – 1st Drive Impressions. Launching Very Soon | YS Khong Driving
The all-new Axia will be launched within the next few days and the whole nation is looking forward to it. Bookings have been open for a week now, and as of today, more than 3,600 units have been booked by new buyers – another 44,000 who have booked the old Axia are given the chance to switch over to the new Axia, so again we foresee another long waiting list in the making.
The new Axia is larger in length, width and height, so it is effectively a larger car. The mechanicals still retain the 1.0 litre engine, but the transmission is now a D-CVT, which is Daihatsu’s own CVT.
Prices are mooted at between RM38,600 and RM49,500 for four automatic models, while the cheaper manual transmission model will be launched later.
We took a heavily camouflaged car out for a short drive, and the car didn’t fail to please – remembering of course that this is an entry-level car meant for first time buyers and young families. The spread of the price list covers four variants, which means there is a car for each of us who are considering a new budget-priced car.
In terms of price and size proposition, the Axia is an excellent package, and if you are looking for such a car, do go and make your booking now.
Keep your eyes on this channel, as we would be there for the launch as well, and we will be able to give you the actual prices then.
Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to share and subscribe.
