Ferrari F430 Genting Run | Love The Sound | 17 Years Old But Still Going Strong / YS Khong Driving

Out of the blue I get a whatsapp from a young man whom I have never met before and he asks me if I would like to check out his Ferrari F430 on Genting.

Wild horses wouldn’t have kept me away from such a rare opportunity – I have only driven one Ferrari up this mountain before, so after a bit of coordination this drive was arranged, but on condition Austin remained anonymous, at least as far as his face was concerned – thus throughout the drive we don’t get to see his face. For the record, he was as cool as a cucumber, sometimes even whipping out his phone to shoot some parts of the drive.

A big word of thanks is due to Austin for providing us with the chance to make this great video.

Needless to say the F430 performed flawlessly throughout- we had to slow down in a few places for traffic, sorry for that, but safety is paramount.

Where we could go, we did, but not surprisingly, the F430 was flawless throughout. Even when the tail came out a bit, it was totally predictable and the quick steering ratios made correction very easy.

Despite its age, the car performed great, and I enjoyed it, especially the sound of the exhaust.
