The Legacy Racing Team’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO race car gains a sponsor in brand new automotive lubricant brand, Erbenol Lubricants. Erbenol recently had its brand launch in Kuala Lumpur, which featured the Legacy Racing Team’s car decked out in Malaysia-inspired livery. This is the first and only AMG GT3 EVO race car in Malaysia to compete in the World GT Challenge Asia Series.
Promoting Unity and Patriotism
In conjunction with the Merdeka Day celebration to promote unity and patriotism, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO race car dons a special Malaysia flag livery. It is finished in red, yellow, and blue to symbolise its pride of being the first all-Malaysian racing team to join the World GT Challenge Asia Series.
Tengku Djan and Leona Chin, the perfect duo for the Legacy Racing Team Malaysia, along with Erbenol Lubricants Sdn Bhd Group Director Kelvin Liang, Sales Director Noel, were present to jointly unveil the car as well as the new lubricant brand and its products.
Developed with German Technology
Erbenol Lubricants products are developed by adopting German skillset and technology. Erbenol Lubricants had conducted research and development together with its international partners as well as racing team to develop the best formulation and produce a series of products to suit all ranges of vehicles from consumer cars to race cars. Its product line-up available in Malaysia includes Synta 9 series with Pro + Ester Base, Synta 8 series Fully Synthetic, Synta 7 Semi-Synthetic, and Synta Mineral Series.
“We are extremely proud to have adopted and developed such superior technology and products, as well as bringing it back to Malaysia,” said Kelvin Liang, who is also team principal of Legacy Racing Team.
He added that Erbenol is looking forward to working hand-in-hand with its dealers to serve the Malaysian market, as well as with potential dealers who are interested in leading the brand overseas.
The first and only Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO race car in Malaysia will be displayed at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Shopping Centre until 13th September 2020. “It’s a great opportunity to get up close with the exotic race car in the city when it’s usually seen in the race track,” said Leona Chin.
