All-New Honda City RS 2020 – Is i-MMD the Game Changer for the B- segment? | YS Khong Driving
We preview the all-new Honda City, expected to be launched in the last quarter of 2020, which is not that far away.
No specs are released as yet, but we know up to a certain level of accuracy that Honda Malaysia are NOT going for the 1.0 litre turbo engine, opting to introduce a new DOHC 1.5 litre engine, reputed to produce 132PS.
The range topper would be the 1.5 litre engine married with Honda’s I- MMD hybrid system, rumoured to provide a torque delivery if 253Nm, which is class-leading.
We did an earlier video on the i-MMD system, so watch it for more information.
The all-new body is said to be longer, with a longer wheelbase, to be confirmed at launch – we were not allowed to go measure it, and neither were we allowed to look inside. The car yiu can see here is the ‘development’ model, so the final car may be slightly different
From the outside we see the front mask that is similar to one of the new Fit/Jazz we saw at the Tokyo Motor Show last November,, and we also know the City will now feature Lane Watch.
This is so exciting – stay tuned with us, as we unravel the all-new Honda City.
