VW Arteon 2.0 Consumption Test On City Ring Road/Single Take, Authentic Video/YS Khong Driving

What would your expectation be in terms of fuel consumption for a 2.0 litre VW Arteon with 190 PS and 320Nm of torque? What we did was to run a short distance of 20+ kilometres on a mixed terrain on our MRR2, our Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road, along DUKE and the Sprint highway, with traffic, and travelling at typical road speeds along with other traffic.

The Coasting feature that is in the Arteon is a real boon to fuel consumption, taking what hyper-milers do to a new level, with greater safety. Please note that the driver used a reasonably light acceleration, but without being a nuisance to other road users, and even overtook some cars along the way.

Also note that the driver only demonstrated what is possible under the prevailing traffic conditions, and we hold no responsibility for the results, as fuel consumption figures can vary according to ambient temperature, driving styles, traffic and engine condition.
