TOKYO MOTOR SHOW 2019: Exciting HINO Dakar Rally Service Truck! | YS Khong Driving
The Dakar Rally is run over a long distance, starting from one place and ending in another, over a long period. unlike normal rallies, the stages do not cross cross and the rally keeps on moving all the time, and sometimes there is only one road.
Service vehicles also have to share the same road, so car makers also enter trucks as part of the competition: this enables them to go interesting the same stages and help their team mates if necessary, carrying parts and even fuel.
The driver and co- driver are mechanics as well, and so the trucks are built strong to withstand the rigours of the route. This is our chance to get close and personal with one: the Hino Dakar Rally truck!
