Toyota GT86 Auto – Genting Hillclimb | YS Khong Driving

Thanks to Patrick Ooi, we got the chance to try out an automatic Toyota GT86 up our favourite mountain.
The road was slightly wet, so we had to ‘feel’ our way up and down. The drizzle was intermittent too, and the dampness was the same, so we never know what to expect.

The car has seen some mods, including a set of coil – overs and other bits and pieces including a lowered final drive.

I guess it’s not really about how fast you can drive this car, but more about how much fun you can have driving it.

So is it better to have an auto or a manual, since I now have driven both?
